Job Description

Competent in the administrative and low to mid level complexity tasks required to manage a project. Relatively self sufficient and effective in the completing assigned tasks, thus freeing the Project and Program Leaders to focus on strategic tasks. Understands the IT Unified Process (ITUP) Software Development Life Cycle and dependencies within the Work Breakdown structure. Sets up and runs meetings, produces clear notes including actions items, with responsible person(s) identified, as well as, agreements and conclusions reached. Tends to need direction and assistance in addressing complex interpersonal and organizational issues, as well as, understanding proper application of escalation paths.

• Provides project management function for low-complexity, low to medium risk projects, repeatable projects, or projects within a larger program.
• Includes estimating, scheduling, assigning resources, and managing risks, issues, escalations and jeopardies.
• Manages and controls progress, including ensuring completion of deliverables, comparing actual results to plans, providing financial reporting, and ensuring projects meet objectives in the areas of quality, schedule and cost while using the organization's standard processes.
• Serves as a liaison between IT partners, client organizations and IT leadership as appropriate.
• May provide supplier management of existing Suppliers.
• When managing part of a program, works closely with more senior project/program managers to ensure projects are meeting business objectives.
• PMP Certification Recommended.

• Raising jeopardy in a timely manner
