Job Description

Serving in a supervisory role, The Sr. Operations Supervisor will overseer these additional Responsibilities.

  • Oversees a designated portion of the RR Regional Managers (RM) area.

  • Create; forward PRF to RR RM for approval.

  • Create; forward COS to RR RM for approval.

  • Training RRS/QA staff in job policies and procedures.

  • Schedules, assigns and tracks RRS/QA such that all clients' RR site locations are adequately staffed to meet daily workload demand.

  • Periodically inspecting/auditing RRS and QA work performed, identifying problem areas and escalating to Regional Manager as appropriate to ensure program quality and productivity targets are achieved.

  • Validates and approves  RRS and QA weekly timesheets and mileage charges.

  • Use computer email application to send daily/weekly Job Activity Reports, Time Reports, Mileage Reports and other data and information as required by Genesis Regional Manager.

  • Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork within the RRS/QA staff to ensure set productivity targets are met.

  • Assist management in documentation, investigation, cause determination and preventive/corrective action development and implementation on reported quality issue for continuous improvement in areas of productivity and cost reduction.

  • Log information and retrieves reports from computerized data management systems.

  • Follows all safety policies and common sense practices to avoid personal injury and damage to customer property.

  • Responsible for maintaining maximum number of monthly deviations set by operations management at assigned sites.

  • Conduct and document site audits; number of required weekly audits set by operations management

  • Responsible for conducting safety meetings in accordance to scheduled safety topic.

  • Maintain a professional appearance.

    Keep all Genesis and AT&T electronic devices secure from theft at all times.

  • Assist with any additional operational duties as needed by Regional Manager

Job Requirements

  • Effectively communicate with customer personnel to accomplish his/her responsibilities

  • Follow written and verbal instructions without deviation

  • Solve problems to maintain work flow and recognize when escalation is appropriate

  • Must have valid driver’s license, proof of insurance  and reliable  transportation

  • Be accessible during off duty hours by cell phone or pager

  • Maintain an excellent attendance record.

  • Weekends, Holidays and additional hours may be mandatory as needed

  • Provide management with advance notification if absence from work is anticipated

  • Acknowledge, sign and abide by the Genesis Code of Business Conduct

  • Work shifts will be flexible based on coverage of customer personnel

  • Ability to Stoop/kneel/crouch/reach/stand/walk/sit for extended length of time

  • Ability to lift 25lbs+, use pallet jack,  adjust to weather climates as needed

  • Required to adhere to all safety  policies and procedure at all times, including but not limited to wearing hard-toe shoes or boots and all PPE (personal protection equipment

  • Must be able to use a hand held sorting/grabbing tool to inspect dumpsters.

  • Must be able to climb stairs and/or step stools.

  • For payroll, possible mileage reimbursement and time tracking: Must agree to GPS tracking system

  • Satisfactory background check & drug testing is required
